MICHAEL DOCKERY

Michael Dockery

Michael Dockery is known by many in music and sports as well as others in the entertainment arena to be a genius when it comes to promotions. And, many of those who have worked with him refer to Dockery as a SUPER PROMOTER!

Based in Memphis, Michael finds that this vibrant southern city is the perfect plane for him. It is growing more popular as a cosmopolitan market with professional sports teams such as the NBA's Grizzlies, the NFL's Tennessee Titans along with thriving nightclubs and restaurants. But it is still "lay-back" enough to offer its population the relaxing atmosphere everyone seeks no matter what part of the country they live.

Michael Dockery Dockery's roots run deep here in his birthplace. It seems he knows everyone and is a popular figure in the city. Despite Michael's vast and successful business accomplishments, he is a humble and deeply religious man. He spends a good portion of his time working with the Pastor of his church, T. L. McCray, to create youth programs. He often brings celebrities to help set meaningful direction for the city's young people.

He is a great negotiator and dealmaker and has a passion for success. We asked him - Who do you feel have inspired you most in your life?
Virtually everyone I have had the privilege to meet in person or even on a phone call. Each one has a story or idea that gives me more strength. There are several, though, who I feel have been mentors including Lenny Williams, Emmanuel Stewart, Tito Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Trina, Trillville, Ambassador Bobby Jones, as well as those I have worked with including Paul Ring, Frank Deleo, Kenny Levy, Terry Harvey and Pat Allocco with special appreciation to George B. Hitt, Orlando Brown (Eddie from That's So Raven) and the Vice President of my recording label, Carl Baldwin, State Rep Joe Towns, Keijan Coffey, Romona Edwards. And, special thanks to my family and friends for their constant support.

What's next for you?
I'm working with Melvin Rogers as he re-builds the group - Dixie Wonder. We've got a deal going in LA with Ms. Ronna Edwards, but we'll talk more about that at another time. By the way, our record company, Royal Entertainment of Las Vegas is doing great.

In a few words, what would you say to others? Be honest and have faith in your beliefs.
